1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, participate in activities on the App, or otherwise contact us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the App, the choices you make, and the products and features you use.

Personal Information Provided by You. We may collect email addresses, usernames, passwords, and other similar information.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and device characteristics, may be collected automatically when you use our App.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the App. This information does not directly reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information such as your IP address, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, information about how and when you use our App, and other technical information.

This information is primarily used to maintain the security and operation of our App and for internal analytics, troubleshooting, and reporting purposes.

Information collected through our App

Certain BO&BO applications use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with compatible BoBo devices.

Depending on your device and operating system version, your operating system may request permission to access Bluetooth, nearby devices, or location-related services in order to discover and connect to Bluetooth devices.

BO&BO does not use these permissions to track your physical location and does not collect or store precise location information for this purpose.

These permissions are used only as necessary to discover and communicate with compatible BoBo devices while using the App.

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short: We process your information based on legitimate business interests, fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and/or your consent.

We use personal information collected through our App for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • To facilitate account creation and login.

  • To manage user accounts and keep them in working order.

  • To request feedback about your experience with our App and Services.

  • To enable user-to-user communications, where applicable and with the users' consent.

  • To provide customer support and respond to requests.

  • To maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve our App and Services.

  • To post testimonials, where you have provided your consent.

If you wish to update or remove a testimonial, please submit a request through our Contact Us form and include enough information for us to identify the relevant testimonial.

In legal terms, where applicable, BO&BO Ltd. acts as the “data controller” because we determine the purposes and means of processing personal information.

Where we process information on behalf of a business customer under a data processing agreement, the business customer may act as the data controller and BO&BO Ltd. as the data processor, in accordance with the applicable agreement.

3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. Where immediate deletion is not possible, such as information stored in backup archives, we will securely store and isolate the information until deletion is possible.

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information that we process.

However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should therefore access and use the App within a secure environment and take reasonable measures to protect your account credentials.

7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

In Short: We do not knowingly solicit personal information from or market directly to children under 18 years of age.

The App may be used by minors under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, caregiver, or qualified professional, as appropriate.

If we learn that personal information from a minor has been collected in circumstances where parental or guardian authorization was required but not provided, we will take reasonable measures to delete such information.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting that can be used to indicate a privacy preference regarding online tracking.

There is currently no uniform standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals. Accordingly, our Services may not respond to all DNT signals or similar mechanisms.

If an applicable standard is adopted that we are required to follow, we will update this Privacy Notice accordingly.
